“Absolutely would go back and stay again”

“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”

“The place is literally off the beaten path, so don't get worried when you find yourself traveling several miles down a dirt road.”

“Since there was very little information on the listing, I thought I would clarify that this is a very rustic accommodation, more like camping than anything else. The cabin was very open to the elements, always filled with bugs (wasps, beetles, fishing spiders, etc.), and you should expect to be woken up at 4 by the rooster and other farm animals. The bed itself was cozy and the shed was charming in many ways. If this all is what you are expecting, you might have a great time. For people like us……

“This is our third year in a row staying here for July 4th. Rooms are excellent. View of the river is spectacular from room. Fish will be jumping at dusk. Helens and Mason Brew Pub a short walk away. Rooms are recently updated and are beautiful. Great rear outside sitting area with fireplace to hang out at next to the river which is quiet on a large lawn area.”

“An unexpected hidden jewel! Run by a lovely, welcoming family. It's a traditional simple morel format, elevated by the attention to detail and the stunning views. Out room looked out over the water with the moon reflected, lobster boats, and just a lovely view. Beautiful bedding!! Great attention to detail. Convenient bedside (both sides) AC and USB outlets, which are so appreciated, if you've ever had to crawl under a bed or move it from the wall to access outlets. Can't wait to……

“Cozy cabin. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. Bed was very comfortable. Amazing views of the waterfront. Enjoyed relaxing by the fire and overlooking the tide come in. Fun exploring the mud flats at low tide. Screened porch was a great place to enjoy meals and game nights without having to worry about the bugs. Convenient location to explore Jasper beach and Acadia. Highly recommend this lovely relaxing piece of heaven.”

“This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park……

“First of all I want to say there was great communication from the host. The apartment was just okay. The listing says no pets but there was lots of little white dog hairs all over the futon couch, we didn’t even sit on it. Parking was not good, too far away from entry door. It had snowed the day before we arrived and nothing had been shoveled and we had to make several trips back and forth from our vehicle trying not to fall on snow and ice. Amenities were sufficient and “everything “ is labeled……
